Wefunder's platform didn't have a user-intuitive way to track information for current and past fundraise rounds. Our support team was receiving dozens of emails each week from founders asking where to find information related to a fundraise. We needed new interfaces to display complex data about fundraises, in a way that was easy to read and act on.

In 3 months, I conceptualized, built, and shipped a new dashboard for founders to track their fundraise rounds. Working solo meant I could communicate across teams without blockers, speak directly with users, and iterate on the order of days.

Round details

Clicking a round in the dashboard opens its details page, with terms, investors, contracts, and round-level operations.

Invite Links

I communicated closely across legal and operations teams to abstract away as much regulatory complexity as possible from resulting product features, eg. invite links.

Self PM-ing

During this process, I uncovered outdated and inefficient workflows in our private round set up, which were causing pain points for our users and our support teams. This led me to overhaul the private round flow, covered in my next post.
